Anyone know if Progressive covers broken rear glass? I left a wrench near the window and closed the trunk, it wasn't but a slight close of the trunk but it shattered the entire glass. Only thing holding it together is the tint.


anyone have any clue if progressive full coverage covers that shit? or anyone have any ideas how much it cost?

yep they cover it but you will be responsable for your deductable unless you can find a co. to waive it

Just in case anyone is wondering how much it cost, cheapest I was able to find it was for $428 installed with a company called Conerstone in Tampa.

Here are the prices I got when i called around:

Precision Auto and Truck Glass:
425+Tax

Safelite:
518+tax

Glass Doctor:
520+tax

Lloyd's Glass:
510+tax

Bishop Auto Glass:

Progressive:
760

after calling Bishops I gave up calling lol. prices seemed to keep going up and up lol. Also, good news for those w/ statefarm, they cover all glass for free which sucks for me cause i moved to progressive in January.. ugh..

In Florida your insurance has to replace your windshield deductible free. http://myflorida.custhelp.com/app/an...eplacement-law

I don't know if that applies to the rear one though.

I believe the law applies to front windshield only
if you have comprehensive coverage they will replace it
