H11 Bulb Question

I had an HID kit on the e92 stock foglights but just upgraded to the M3 bumper, but it has H11 so the HID kit no longer works.

My question though to you is, if I theoretically just get an H11 HID bulb, will it just work with the ballast that I bought for the stock fog's?

Mostly it will work. Just make sure you buy the exast same bulb but H11
