remove intererior trim by the ac knobs

hello. i couldnt find a DIY for this and i dont want to break anything. i'm getting a rattling noise in my e92 and its coming from either the central plastic piece around where the ac knobs are or the little plastic piece beneath that. can these pieces be removed by pulling on them and then snapping back into place after putting some felt tape on them? or will they break if i pull on them? thanks

You actually have to remove your center console first to get those out. Im pretty sure there are 2 screws down there.

Yes. You need to lift, then remove the center console. It will then give you enough room to reach behind the trim pieces to pull them out. Search the DIY section for visual aids.

Im not exactly sure but I think you could just take an old credit card and stick it between where the entertainment unit is i on the sides. That should take them off but dont quote me on it
