FS: Titanium Silver Touch-up Paint
Looking for $25 shipped within the lower 48. 12.5 oz spray can with extra nozzles. Used maybe 2% to cover a 3" scratch on the bumper of my last car. Bought it from paintscratch.com for $24.95 & $8.95 shipping ($33.90). From what I read, these guys have the best touch up paint. "Titan Silver Metallic Clearcoat 354" |

can i see a pic of how it worked on your car?
are you ever in the LA area or always in Ventura? I live in OC so i'm guessing it'll probably be cheaper to mail it USPS? |

I respoded to your first question above. paintscratch.com is known for having a spot on color match. If your OEM paint has faded, that's a different story.
I work in Burbank and sometimes run out to DTLA, but that's as far as I go. Prob easiest to just mail it. |

For the benefit of anyone else interested:
I just masked & sprayed a curb scratch under my front bumper the day I turned the car into the dealer. It was a rough job but it looked good enough for them not say anything about it. I just masked it a bit, shot it with some basic gray primer and then sprayed it with TIAG. Edit: If you know (from me and others around the forums) that the paint match is OEM, why would a picture of this be so crucial? Last edited by FoShizzle; 02-01-2011 at 02:28 PM.. |

crucial because i considered buying it? i don't know about you, but it isn't that much of a hassle for me to walk out to the car, take a picture, and upload it. that's all.

I don't think you're understanding me. The car was returned to the dealer (BMW buyback) 2 hours after I painted it - never saw it again. (That was 6 months ago) I didn't bother to take a pic at the time, because I didn't have any need to. I honestly don't care if I sell this. I just figured it'd be useful for another forum member here. Anyone who knows about this product doesn't need pics. Anyone who hasn't heard of them before does research to see what others have to say about it.
Did a Google search... http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...intscratch.com "I got my touch up paint kit and I've been very satisfied with it." http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=546715 "Excellent color matching" http://fordification.com/forum/viewt...hp?f=15&t=3846 "Wow, it looks exactly right. I'm really impressed." http://www.mbworld.org/forums/e-clas...ch-repair.html "results where exceptional." "the color match is good and the can sprays very smooth no runs." http://www.club3g.com/forum/show-shine/7281-www-paintscratch-com.html "excellent experience with them - practically invisible even with my un-subtle handiwork." http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...intscratch.com "used their stuff to paint my reflectors on my 01 m3 amongst other things. perfect color match." http://www.bimmernut.com/forum/5-ser...ratch-com.html "Bottom line is that I will use them again if I need more." I don't know about you, but that was good enough for me before I bought it. |
