Word to the wise. Those shields, stickers, badges and courtesy cards will never replace manners and respect.
A 'friend' mine has been stopped on numerous occasions for different reasons, with and without any of the 'aids' listed above. When he see that he is being puled over,he pulls over ,turns off car, radio off, cell phone hung up, inside lights on, flashers on, keys and wallet on dashboard, driver window down and hands on the wheel. These are quick to do and shows you put some thought into the cops/troopers/officers safety. My friend does this everytime even when stopped without his papers and has yet to get ticketed. I have followed his advice an it has served me well. //my 2cents... thanks for listening!

+1 for manners, IMO it's a little foolish thinking that a FOP shield is magically going to get you out of a ticket. Most of us are young & we're driving around in BMWs that usually have obvious exterior mods (body kits, wheels, exhaust), so the roundel might as well be bullseye. Better off spending your money for a radar and if you get caught, be respectful & acknowledge what you did wrong.
