WTF!! Calling MAC!

I've never seen anything like this before happen to any car. At first I was thinking someone was purposely putting lit cigarettes on my car but then I saw something looking like a chemical burn on my taillight so it could have just been some guy spraying some harsh stuff around when my car was parked, who knows.

Derek@MAC, comprehensive will cover this, right? If so, you'll be seeing me this week.

Dude it's all over my passenger side quarter panel, trunk and even got my rear passenger side door! I just hope insurance covers something like that.

If you have a deductible its probably not even worth going through insurance. What I am puzzled is what type of chemical would eat through paint like that. I know brake fluid can def eat away paint...but that looks like droplets of something spraying off of somewhere.

To properly repaint a trunk, quarter panel and door? Trust me the deductible is worth it

What the hell? I've never seen anything like this ever. That said, I have had eggs thrown at my E36 M3 convertible while sitting in it on the street reading a newspaper.

Who sits in their car reading the newspaper?

Were they aiming for the car or you?

Its brake fluid, they did that to me 10 years ago, first check your own fluid then you can rule out your own car

Wow that is crazy...parking on the streets of NYC , you never know what you will come back to sometimes. I was parked in BK for a handful of hours and came back a nice 4in scratch in my bumper!
