Won't the dealer charge/make you purchase the vehicle if they find out you put mods (especially a tune) on a leased vehicle?

Not I have all the stock parts and they can't really find out there's a tune unless they take it for a test drive and pin it down the street... My pervious VW was given in with a chip and blown aftermarket suspention

Cool - If I was you I would just make sure the buyer is aware of the risk. I have heard that BMW is not as gracious as you stated when they receive a leased car which has had a tune on it. However, this is what I have heard not something which I have experienced first hand.

FYI: They can always run the ECU to see codes left behind by the tune to determine if a tune was on the vehicle - unless you wipe those codes.

Yep thanks for your concern, but they have pre turn in inspection where someone will go over your car for free and tells you what needs to be done. And if your really worried about it throwing codes you can always de-tune the car at any giac dealer and then hand in the car if you must
