CREE 10W Angel Eye LEDS Vs GPThunder 8500K

Hi all!

I have installed two weeks ago a pair of Led Light Bulbs.
They are 10w each and have 4 CREE leds each bulb.

Previously I had installed the GPThunder 8500k and I am very satisfied with the results!

They work very good:
- No flickering
- Dimming when headlights are on
- No dash errors
- Real white color even when dimmed
- Well constructed

Anybody has the same?

I am thinking on attach the converter with a plastic tie. Do you think that it is necessary?
Because I am afraid of hits that it could receive...

Finally I have decided to cover the converter and wires with OEM insulating cloth tape like the original wiring harness of the car.

I am trying to avoid damages that the headlamp could suffer with the shakes and hits of the converter.

I have them but they are invisible during day in direct sunlight not as bright as yours, i wonder why, they also dimmed a bit when xenons on but stock ae is much brighter than this led. Gp thunders are less brighter ?? Have you try to increase voltage to them to make it brighter ( i mean gp thunders now ? )

Hi,

Mine are very bright even under direct sun light as you can see on the video. I don't know why yours aren't so bright. Are you sure that yours are 10W CREE too?
Mine dimmed a bit with xenon too, but this is normal and I like it.

As you can see in the video at time 00:15, CREE are much more bright than GPThunder, If you could see it by your own, the leds are almost 2x more bright than GP, and perfect white (GP Thunder had violet glares)

I didn't try to increase the voltage because for me is enough and I am a little bit scared from what could happen to the leds and the headlight if I increase it (I mean, it could burn something)

Regards

Increase voltage for leds will not make them brighter, i mean increase voltage for gpthunders , led have more or less constant voltage
