The reviews for this card are glowing! Less power, less money, more performance.

I know right? I can remenber building my first computer with a NVIDIA TNT. My current rig only has a 260 in it, might need to upgrade for D3.

D3 doesn't require much specs. I played beta with my i7 mac, works like a charm, no lag, nothing.

Just that my fan is spinning like crazy,

Newegg is out of everything...

I'm wanting to build a new desktop, but I can't seem to get my hands on these cards. I have a connection that can get me a 670, but I was wanting a 680. The 690 is just stupid expensive.

Anyone know is there a huge difference between the 670 and 680? On paper it doesn't seem so... I think I've seen benchmarks on BF3 with maybe a 10-15 FPS difference in favor of the 680.

I just bought an older GTX 480 for super cheap from Newegg. When overclocked, it's way faster than the 560 ti 448 and on par with the GTX 580. For less than $200 on Newegg, it was a steal.

Doesn't look like a huge difference according to this review:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...view,3200.html

Assuming your connection can come through, I would grab the 670. It's been almost 2 months since the launch of the 680 and there is still no inventory and no solution in sight.

I finally broke down and bought a Radeon 7970. I know it isn't as good as the 680, but I got tired of waiting.
