Stebro Exhaust/Muffler
Anyone here have a Stebro exhaust? I have been searching for more affordable options than BMW PE, and the Stebro sounds nice on the one YouTube clip I found, but I can't find pictures of it anywhere on an E90.
It seems like the exhaust is pretty new for the E90... The reason I don't want the BMW PE is because I don't think it's worth spending $1,000 on just a muffler that's mainly just for looks and sound. |

Stebro sucks. Sounds nice on the outside, drones like hell on the inside. And not to mention its loud in all the wrong parts. Loud at 2250-2500 rpms and gets more and more QUIET as you get on the gas.
If you don't think the BMW PE is worth the $1000 b/c its mainly looks and sound, then save your money totally. All exhaust for n/a Bimmers fall in this category, and the Stebro if anything will sound worse. If you insist on getting the sound, just go custom + magnaflow, or custom + resonator delete, etc. |

+1. Magnaflow gets the best reviews out here. I had one in but I had custom pipes with no res or cats. A lot of drone. Those who keep cats and res or use the magnaflow cat back res love the sound. I still have my magnaflow. $50 to whoever wants it.
