You can get a canbus alarm like the one used here. It uses your factory remote. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=643298
post 42 has a DIY it's only about 5 wires. |

Get a RemoteKey+, and if you want to go the extra mile then add in a CanBus alarm with a Remote Key +. i did this to my non alarm optioned 328, and it was perfect. the RK+ module perfectly emulates the BMW 'beep', and can be custom configured to beep on lock unlock or both... very nice to have for noisy locations. if you search under my user name there is a thread i detailed the RK+ and DEI canbus install on my 328. the system worked flawless, was easy to manage and did not false. add in the beep, and blinking mirror LED, its a great way to go.
yes you will continue to use your factory keyfob.

yes.
when i sold my 2011 E92, i removed and resold the RK+, i left the DEI alarm in cause i didnt feel like unwiring the siren. in your case it seems like just doing the RK+ would be exactly what your looking for. a reputable local shop could install it every easily, or you can DIY. http://www.mods4cars.com/sms/shop/in...ode=view&id=65
