E90 Speaker Plates

Where can I get some E90 front speaker plates so I can install Morel Dotech Ovation? Is there anyway I can install them with the speaker plates? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I was just about to post this same question. (Except I will be using Hybrid Ovation IIs)

I would really like to get my hands on the 808MGuy speaker adapters, but apparently he doesn't sell them anymore is that correct?

From what I understand he doesn't make them anymore. I wish he did as I would buy them in a heartbeat right now.

attached is my template. I used these dimensions and cut out adaptors from 6mm thickness of plywood. I would suggest using a stronger material so you can make a thinner adaptor. To make it even better i was told to get a router and round off the inner circumference. You may have to amend where the mounting holes are but this would be a very minor amendment.

The adaptor ring is designed to be pushed onto the back of the morel dotech ovation mid range speaker and will be a nice tight fit. There are some clips on the outside of the speaker, which you will have to push in to enable to adaptor to fit. The actual speaker is not attached to the adaptor as the morel doesn't come with screw holes. But the tight fit is sturdy enough. Make sure to use some insulation tape.

Nice. Thank you for the template. This will make it a lot easier to get them fabricated before I even take off the door panel.
