Ive been told the origin is the better of the 2 but i havnt tried either yet. Some form of camera detection is needed i think, its oh so easy 2 go way over the speed limit lol

Heard on BBC news this morning that they are looking to make it illegal to have these kind of devices soon. I use a GPS set of points and it was mentioned that even those could be deemed as illegal too!

That would cost more to adequately enforce than the huge amount the government is currently getting from speedtraps- ridiculous!

It's about time that they admitted that speed cameras are nothing whatsoever to do with road safety and are merely a stealth tax.

If they made any difference to safety why is the number of road accidents, casualties and fatalities not plummeting? If cameras work then given the rate that they are hemorrhaging onto our roads they out to be the safest in the world. How the hell does a stealth grey box warn you of a dangerous road?

At least in the Isle of Man they hold consultations and then listen to the feedback. After a national speelimit of 60mph was put forwards the 57% of the 15000 people who responded were against the idea so they scrapped it.
