Car vibration
Started noticing some vibration at highway speeds on my 2011 328i. Dealer had it road force balanced and it got a little better, but I can still feel it. The tires have only 3000 miles on them (stock Conti RFT). One more thing that I noticed is when I drive on very smooth pavement or concrete at 5 mph I can feel a little hop on one of the wheels/tires. The dealer can't seem to find it. The wheels/tires should still be covered under original warranty and I also have BMW wheel/tire protection plan.
What else can they do short of replacing the tires? Is this a tire or wheel problem? Thanks |

Hmm.. strange. Usually a road-force balance would fix a problem like this but you already had that done. Try doing a 'run out' on your wheels to see if they're true and round. If your wheel is slightly oval or bent, that could be why. Do you know where you're feeling the vibration exactly, in the steering wheel or one of the rear wheels?
