Calculating Boost - N54
I have a DashDaq XL and am able to monitor MAP (PSI) = Manifold Absolute Pressure
There is an "enhanced signal" calculator for actual Turbo Boost. Of course in my head I can calculate MAP + 0.6 (FMIC) PSI reduction to confirm boost target is being achieved. However, I want to see it all, peek, spikes etc if any. My stumbling stone is figuring out the settings for the "Multiplier Sign" and "Offset Sign" when calculating MAP - Barometric Pressure (14.7 PSI). Any help would be great... Thanks Last edited by BQTuning; 06-19-2012 at 10:00 PM.. |

Seems like my scangauge but with nicer interface. I tried all possible combination on my scangauge to see boost and couldnt get it to read over about 4 psi wich is I read the max psi that will be seen on those type of device.

I think I figured it out. I was able to enter the correct values and get the boost I was looking for. Let me know what your MAP and PSI reduction is so I can get you the values |

Seems then the Dashdaq has some more option the Scangauge doesnt. Scangauge only works with hex value.
