In theory, if the catch can was never plumbed back into the intake, it would fix this problem. e.g. Vent to atmosphere.
Though that would start to smell bad.

That wouldn't work since it would destroy the vacuum pressure (which is the biggest arguement against OCCs is that they disrupt the vacuum). If it was as simple as running a hose from the PCV down the firewall & venting to the ground, this would have already been done.

An OCC, Meth + the RB PCV Upgrade are really the only 3 things you can do to combat carbon built up. While this won't completely stop the intake valves from getting clogged, it will slow the process down.
