Signal Hill BMW service compliant

So last week i brought my car in for 50k maintenance at Signal Hill BMW/Mini. The usual maintenance would take about 3-5 hrs per visit but this particular time they decided to keep my car overnight ( no real reasoning why was explained to me ). I called in the next day to see if I could pick up my car and once again I was told it wouldnt be ready yet. Finally 2 days after dropping off my car, i was able to pick it up.

i talked to my SA to see what took so long but he said they were really busy over the weekend. I just accepted his excuse and went along my way.

Now its been 5 days after my drop off date and i was cleaning out the car and I find a invoice for a dent fix and finish that was dated when my car was at this BMW. I tried looking for the damage but i couldnt find any. Now i should probably overlook this but im pretty furious with the dealership trying to hide the problem from me in the first place. If they fessed up, i probably wouldnt care.

Posted to see/hear some of your opinions and comments.

Cheers,
Bill

that's just shady business! Since they weren't up front with you and tried to keep this all a secret but yet they left trails of what had occurred! SMH! Definitely would take my business somewhere else is I was you

Was the dent fixed and also repainted? You can tell if a panel has been repainted by looking for panels that don't have the factory orange peel clear coat. Also glide your fingers around the edge of the panel to make sure it's smooth.

I would 110% bring it up to the service manager. I have had issues with their sales department but they have been good in the service department.

WHAT THE FU** ?!?!? I WOULD RAISE HELL.

can you call the number on the invoice? does it say who the contractor was? take the dealer to court. they usually contract someone out to do the repair. but this is absurd.

+1 that's just shady. Basically over time you will see a difference in your paint and that will show. I would contact them for sure...but with a plan in mind of what you want.
