newbie Q: codes showing up in full read but not NFRM read
Hi coders,
I have a brand new 2012 E91 LCI 328i Touring xDrive bought in Canada. Just started coding this week -- got the recommended cable and have had the usual newbie hiccups but have gotten over them by searching the forums for resolutions to errors, etc. I.e. get the latest datens, switch between old and new Ecu files depending on the module I wanna read/write, etc. Here's where I'm stumped, and I'm a bit tired of all the hours I've spent this week reading / searching / experimenting, so please don't jump all over me if this has been covered elsewhere. I downloaded all the codes in the TRC file in expert mode, saved a backup of it. Then I did the same for CAS / NFRM. The code I'm interested in is SPIEGEL_ELEKTROCHROM...I wanna turn off the auto-dimming mirrors (can't see a damn thing in the mirrors, yo!) So the weird thing is that SPIEGEL_ELEKTROCHROM is present in the full TRC, but not in the NFRM TRC. What am I doing wrong? Your help is appreciated. |
