Is all vinyl the same?

I was wondering, is all vinyl close to the same quality? I wrapped my window trim last year and it looks pretty good. It took me a long time to do and had to tear it off a few times. I think it may have been due to the quality of the product. Anyway, recently decided to wrap my interior trim gloss black.

I ordered Hexis HX20000 as it got some pretty good reviews. I started to get a little worried because there are definitely some imperfections that you can see up close on my windows. Since you sit about 2 feet from the interior trim, these would drive me crazy.

So after that long winded post . . . has anyone used the Hexis stuff, and are all vinyls the same?

Generally true!

If you're doing a roof wrap, I've found that the Oracal 970RA has the least "orange-peel" effect of the bunch (of Hexis, 3M, and Oracal that I've seen), while Di-Noc/Scotchprint offers the widest selection of patterns. Hexis is also very good!
