Chaps the wifes Touareg had the 80k service a couple of weeks ago at the local mechanic. About the only good thing I can say about him is that he is handy for the wife to drop the kiddies off at school and then the car and walk home and go back at 2.30 for the collection run. he gouged on the service and then told the wife he'd need the car for 2-3 days to replace the cam belt, when she told me this my first reaction was then

So I called Pete from Advan and asked him the question. He did a bit of research and said yep all good, BTW you should change the water pump and runners while its in bits and can do in a day, which is a must for me as I (and the wife) need the car/s.

So yesterday I drove the tank out to Advan (while we waited for the afternoon shift to arrive, pete and I had a chat about my V2's and camber plates are going in next week) and chris had the job complete in good time.

So I would recommend Advan for the little womans car as well even if its not a BMW or ricer GTR
