Our engine & E60

I tried getting the answer from E60 forum but it doesn't seem like they have the answer.

My question is: did E60 receive the new aluminum/magnesium composite 215/255bhp engine before 09/2005? If so when did they start building E60s with the new engines? Because I always thought E60s had the older 184/225bhp engines prior to 09/2005.

Aluminum/magnesium composite engines were put in all models that use them starting in March 2005, all models that received the new engines were bumped to be 2006 for the US market.
