nOOb Cosmetic installs
Hello all,
I know most of you are great here with DIY but, I am new to BMW and new here in Jersey. got my e90 LCI a month ago and was thinking of some cosmetic upgrades. searched the forum and found some good stuff from jbspeed. things i am planning to get 1. BMW Gloss Black Grills For E90 LCI 2. BMW M3 Style Trunk Spoiler (ABS Material) For E90 LCI 3. BMW Painted Reflectors For E90 LCI 4. Waiting for LUX Angel eyes to be available. I know these are easy DIY setup but i would like to know if there are any shops around jersey city that would help me install these parts ? |

Here's the recommended shop install, but I've even noticed there aren't too many body shops on there. I'd say contact ACM if you want to stay in NJ, but these are all ease DIY installs. The LUX eyes might be the only difficult thing you listed. |

^^^ that was quick thanks.
Yeah i went through that list earlier today, most of them are performance related , this is as you said body shop + i am not sure which shop would entertain parts ordered from somewhere else. Yeah Lux install looks slightly difficult. But they are out of stock now 3-4 weeks wait. BTW, thanks for you help with coding got my angel eyes running and key fob setting tweaked last week |

I'm pretty sure most enthusiasts here would install those in exchange for a six-pack. Go to a local meet. Congrats on the car BTW, post pics.

I was in the same situation when I first got my car... but then I decided I had to start somewhere and I installed the reflectors and lux h8 and a few other things by myself... it's worth it. if not, go to autocouture in fair lawn!!!

You can definitely do the yourself, but if you don't want to akmotorwerk in hillsborough has very reasonable prices. They're a supporting vendor on here. GL! Congrats on the car and welcome to the garden state

super hot day today but had fun, went to Englewood auto spa for the first time and loved it, did a mini detail, they did a great job
then went to ACM, without appointment, Lalit was super helpful and have ordered the parts from jbspeed, hopefully by next weekend they will be installed. Will post the pics then. |
