Pre LCI E90 no DVD

Hello
I drive an e90 from 2008 but when I insert a movies DVD, nothing happens... So is it possible to make that work ? And if it's possible I would like to make it possible while driving...

plz help me to find things out

No, unfortunately the hardware doesn't support DVD video, but uses DVDs for maps.
Very frustrating for those of us pre-2009
