Bavarian Technic - Numpties ?????
Hi All,
I recently purchased a BT Professional Cable to do some data-logging, and as I have become familiar with it, I needed some answers to some questions, so I e-mailed BT Customer Support. I cannot believe the answers I received !! Q1: In the list of available values, “Rail Pressure” appears twice (both hPa), if logged side by side, they give similar, but different data ???? Reply: The values that appear in the tool are the same as those listed in the BMW factory tool. We do not attempt to understand their meaning or use. Q2: “Time after Start” appears not to work, just displays/records “zero”, please define it’s function. Reply: The values that appear in the tool are the same as those listed in the BMW factory tool. We do not attempt to understand their meaning or use. Q3: What is the difference between “Engine Speed” and “Motor Speed” (both RPM) ??? Reply: We wish we could provide more details on these values, but it is beyond the scope of our expertise. It is not necessary for us to know the meaning of these values. I am still speechless, despite their promises, no wonder they have not added Injector Coding to it's functions, probably "beyond the scope of our expertise" What a waste of money, support my arse ![]() Rant Over. |

That is pretty crap support.
Post this in the BMW Coding/N54 section - you are more likely to get a response from someone who knows...
