Business Advanced Nav Failure

Evening!

Had my 320d Business Edition for a couple of weeks now... Spent a lot of it utilising the search function on here!

It was trouble free until Saturday morning when I went to reverse my car and the parking sensor picture was not showing correctly.

Then to top it off my navigation would not load at all... It was greyed out from the menu. After leaving the car locked for a few minutes so the iDrive restarts, the navigation just says loading with the symbol spinning. Couldn't have been worse timing as I was 200 miles from home in the middle of nowhere... Grrrr!

I'm booked in with the dealers in the morning... I was just wondering if any of you had any ideas what it could be? Software? Loose connection?

Thanks

If its the DVD drive this thread might help you replace it (they are surprisingly cheap!)

It's the CCC so maybe the reader. It's under warranty so we'll see what the dealers say.

Thanks for the replies!

Just to close this off, the dealer updated all the software to 2012 and all seems fine... For now at least!
