Cost of RB turbo installs
I am going to get RB turbos installed next month and i was quoted 1k from my shop with tax
Is this a good deal? what are others paying

I was quoted 900 so that sounds about right.

Anywhere in the 900 to 1500 range is not outrageous. It takes someone with experience between 8-10 hours of methodical work to complete with all the right tools and environment.
BMW book time for turbo replacement is 15.7 hours. It's definitely a good deal at $1000 for what may be a 10 hour job as long as you know the installer has a good rep and has done some installs before (whether RB or stock). |
