Bwahaha.

It'll be funny when it gets to the point BMW insurance's underwriters refuse to insure BMWs due to the key issue.

Heh, BMW insurance give you 7 days free cover if you buy a car from a dealer and get a quote from them. The quote for my E91 was £2400! I actually laughed at the woman on the phone! Quotemehappy did it for £380.

Quotemefrustrated you mean....

Why can't these feckin' websites take your postcode first and then tell you in plain English that they don't cover your address - instead they make you run round in circles completing a pointless form and don't even have the decency to tell you in the FAQs.

If there are any Insurance company representatives out there, tell your employers to get the finger out and sort this nonsense - it's such a bleedin waste of our time...

</rant over thank you for listening>

Which would have an impact on the rest of the insurance industry when they all follow suit and no insurance company would provide cover for our cars.

It will be tough selling a car that an insurance company won't provide cover for!

If some of the stories being told on various forums are to be believed,it seems that the insurance industry are already raising premiums,or refusing to quote on the BMW's that are effected by this issue,so the sooner BMW sort something out the better,or our cars will be worth next to f£ck all

I got £2,000 plus with those numpties as well!!!!! Plus you had to list all the optional accessories, I think they ran out of space on the computer screen once I got to the "additional 12V power sockets"
