that sounds soooooo sick with the external dump, wonder if you could do an external dump with a cutout , would give you the noise/extra power when its open and be quiet when the cutout is closed

Any worries about early cars (pre 3/07) still running the original injectors and HPFP? Also the quad nozzle meth upgrade, are those extra bungs that are welded into the Charge pipe? is the specific placement important?
X...

The methanol nozzles are installed on the intercooler, and the placement there is important. It also helps prevent the "wet bulb" effect.

I would think that the pre-intercooler placement was simply because you want to spread out the nozzles, and there is only so much piping between the intercooler and throttle body. I've switched from the 2- 1.0mm nozzles to 2- .6mm nozzles in the post-intercooler end tank, and 1-1.0mm nozzle in the normal charge pipe location. From the Devils own website: Quote:

Pre-intercooler placement is isn't ideal if that is all you are doing. However, 2 post intercooler nozzles are also installed that do the bulk of the charge cooling. When subjected to uncooled pre-FMIC intake temps, the pre-intercooler mounted nozzles spray meth which gets vaporized immediately so no chance of puddling in the intercooler. The methanol acts as fuel which is suspended in the air charge as it goes through the IC core. The air gets turbulated nicely to ensure a homogenous meth/air mix before the two post-ic nozzles spray. If we were to put all 4 nozzles post-ic, there wouldn't be enough time for 1300cc/min to properly distribute in the air charge during the fraction of a second it has before it gets consumed by the engine. At this power level, a homogenous mix is just as important as a low iAT.
