Spent the weekend with my PC
This is slightly OT since it's not my e90 but my Jeep instead. That said, I wanted to post here since George from Detailed Image has been so patient with me in my PM's. I wanted to tackle my workhorse vehicle before I tore into one of my bimmers.
It's a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has never seen a hand wash. It was extrememly overcast and rainy on day 1 so I didn't get too many before pics. By the few I got I think you can guess what the rest looked like. ![]() Thanks to George for helping me pick the right products to get me started with the PC. I can't wait to do a few more details with it. Whole Car: Z7 Wash Clay w/ Poorboy's S&G 1 x Menzerna 106ff/White LC Poorboys EX-P Natty's Red Rough spots: 1-2 x Menzerna IP or Power Gloss/Orange LC depending on the conditon 1 x Menzerna 106ff/White LC Here is a before of a spot that has been on there since about a month after we bought it. ![]() ![]() I hit it with some 106ff/white pad and it laughed at me. Then I hit it with PG/Orange twice which made it disappear completely. Finished it with the 106ff/white and it looks like this: ![]() Another fun spot that I could probably get better but I was worn out by the time I got here. ![]() ![]() After: ![]() After sealing and waxing: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Geat work! The PC is a must-have for anyone serious about detailing. I heard Porter Cable might stop making it though, if they have not already. I love mine.
There is also the "Ultimate Detailing Machine" which is new and similar to the PC. Some on-line retailers have it available. |

Looks GREAT man! I can't wait to get my PC, it's on my list of things to do in the near future. Makes detailing work SO much easier than doing it by hand.

Thanks for the compliments and yes, this thing is amazing. Prior to tackling the Jeep I did a few spot details with it. I can't believe how easy it is to use.
I've heard some mixed reviews on the UDM but it's still in its first generation. I'm sure they'll work the bugs out. I can't believe PC would stop making this. |
