335i decatting - UK
If anyone can help here I would appreciate the info.
I'm wondering (a) if I remove the cats on my 335i does it still comply with emission regulations? (b) what is the horsepower gain? I've heard on some cars it can be upto 20hp |

I'm just about to have my VRSF catless downpipes fitted in a couple of weeks.
I'll be posting some pics and power gains for info. I doubt it'll pass the emmissions test, but you may have a 'friendly' MOT centre or just re-fit originals for test time. HTH Andy

You will see HUGE gains from catless downpipes with a tune. I dont know your countries regulations but $$ can always make anything happen

There are 4 cats in the exhaust , if you retain 2 you will pass if you take the car to sniffer really hot and maybe add E85.

This is discussed ad nauseum in the UK technical forum!
No readiness codes. Will pass emmissions. But There is now a visual inspection for CAT's. Depends if the MOT tester takes the time to look closely...
