Transfer Maps To IDrive?

Sup guys,

Quick question, i read there was a way to transfer maps from your iphone to your cars idrive. I own a 06 330XI w/ iDrive, do I have access to this feature?

Btw, does anyone know how to access the search function utilizing the bimmerpost iPhone app?

I don't think you can find a way to transfer maps from iPhone to iDrive in a 2006 330xi with iDrive. The first iPhone was released by Apple was on January 9, 2007 (according to Wiki). Your car was built in 2005-2006, so it's very unlikely that you have that feature.

You can only use the navigation DVD provided by BMW. I have it in my iDrive system and it's a 2007 year. I should buy a new, updated 2012 navigation DVD soon.
