iPod 6fl

Found a way round random full ipod using the iPod Y cable. I have a 80 gig and was unable to random play the full iPod by pressing the random button, would only random play the album selected. The answer is in playlists, move all music from iTunes over into a new playlist. Only trouble is that you have to select random every time you turn ignition on, unless someone knows better ?

Does random on your iPod playlist actually play randomly or does it just play in a set sequence?

When I use a usb flash drive, the random always starts with the same track and plays the same sequence which means you hear the same tracks all the time, as you say, you have to select random each time you start up, so starting the same old sequence again fro the beginning.

I have given up with random and just let it play through the drive in directory order ie all Track 1's beginning with A thru Z then track 2's etc. This seems to remember the track it was playing at switch off and carry on from where it left off on restart. This in effect randomises the tracks, but the same sequence will start again when all the tracks have played.

Apart from this I can't fault the E93!!

The random on the iPod starts where you leave off, and then if you remember to press random after ignition on, continues to do so.

After initial problems with defective injector, 7 days off road E93 running great, just need some dry weather.

My random works great on a playlist however as I 'suffer' (not a big deal really) from 6FL switching off sometimes after switching ignition off then later on, I have to re-select random.

I have to switch to random every time I ignition on (pain in arse) but I do not have the problem of the iPod not remembering where it is at.
