Hi, i have a Bolted on QUAIFE LSD.. if someone has a welded oem differential, is it possible to swap pumpkins.. would my car be able to run the welded oem diff.. even tho it was originally bolted? and vice versa, can the welded lsd car, run my bolted lsd.
Im planning to sell my LSD / swap for oem

You can swap pumpkins if both are same transmission. Otherwise you'll have different ratios.
Btw. Welded is inside the pumpkin. Outside to the axles are always bolted. |

If someone had a welded differential, and I have a bolted Quaife LSD which i was selling. Would the cheapest option for them is to just buy it and swap pumpkins? There would be no point of spending more money and sending out their welded diff right?

Well, if he has an auto, then the only welded ones are manuals, which would change the ratio.
