I'm pretty sure there is a U shaped little hose. Not sure if we have them. I don't remember. But if it's there Make sure it's not clogged. It's supposed to expel moisture for this exact problem.

And the aftermarket led turn signals fit fine. I think there were bad batches years ago.
I have a smoked set and they are flush. Fit like oem.

did you get the ones that flash amber or white? I feel like if I get amber it'll be much brighter than normal which I don't want and if I get white then it won't match the front and rear turn signals...

I have amber. They aren't too bright at all. I have led all around tho. Lci tails, OSS rings , etc.... Whites not legal here so I didn't get it.
