1) Buy Euro headlights (most expensive).
2) Get Marc (mds82) to swap the amber reflector for silver carbon fibre ones...if he is still offering to do it...
3) Buy vinyl overlays (cheapest).

Actually, that is not expensive considering the amount of work this takes.
You almost have to do a pact with the devil to be able to open the E90 headlight without breaking anything.

Plus new adaptive euro xenons cost about $1800. The swap isnt bad, but it does take some time...

Sadly enough, I think BMW will bring clear xenon assemblies to the E90 in 2009 models (speculation).

if i still have my car then (likely) will I be able to replace my current headlights with those?

I have to admit, though, that imaznumkay's solution looks the best so far....i like it better than euro clears, actually...

most likely not...pre-production models look like a redesigned/face-lifted front end which means the lights wouldnt fit...

LOL.

They're following exactly how the E46 model was rolled out...first come out only with the 323i and 328i. Then screw them over by replacing them with the 325i and 330i.

Same thing happened with the E90s....first came the 325i and 330i. Then screw the 330i guys over by replacing them with the 328i and 335i.

If I recall, the E46 came with ugly front and rear ends with orange reflectors at the corners. The face lifted E46 looks much better. I suspect the same will happen with the E90.

Bastards indeed. Smart bastards tho.

We are looking into doing covers for you guys soon. Would you rather them be smoked or color matched? We'll probably offer both.

300 bucks is cheap... considering the other option would be 1-1.5k depending if you get bulbs/balasts.
