Rear Daytime Running Lights
So, I have a LCI E92 and love the bright angel eyes during the day - but was thinking it would be better if the rears were lit at the same time (visibility in spray on the motorway for example without the need for headlights)
Is there a way to do this easily? Could swear I passed an E92 recently that was lit up like this. |

Mine were set up to be on front and rear when I bought the car, so I left as it was. As my car is space grey I was worried about it maybe being a little less visible so I think it's a good feature.

It's definitely not standard I would say - most cars with DRL's are front only and I've seen most bmw's the same.
Just to clarify, I am talking about the setting where the angels being on with the switch in the off position. The rear lights come on obviously when I put the sidelights on, but the angel eyes are less bright on this setting. |

My E92 with DRL had angels on the front and lit up rears at the back.

As of 2012 BMW DRLs are front only unless you code it to also light the rears.
