CLEAR bra
Ok, gave in, returned the vinyl/leather bra and I'm gonna get the clear one- I am gonna go with venture shield as I've heard really good things about it. Dealer is going to charge 1200 for the front part of the hood, side mirrors, front fenders, and front bumper. For the same thing at a reputable custom shop near my house is going to charge 600. Is 600 a good deal? Should I be looking elsewhere? It has a lifetime warranty.

I think I paid around $725 for front bumper, front of each front fender, front of hood, front of roof (in front of sunroof), A-pillars and mirrors.
$600 doesn't sound bad. |

$600 is good. I did my own. I have experience when I was younger tinting windows, etc.
Not as bad as tinting windows. A heat gun and patience is all it takes. |

My dealer wanted just over $900.00 for the same coverage you are looking at, I went to the bodyshop the dealer outsources to and had the job done for $550.00 tax in.
Have used venture shield on cars, trucks and motorcycles for years, when applied correctly it really saves that paint and is virtually unnoticeable. |

Dealer subcontracts and then just sticks you with the higher bill. Just make sure where ever you get it done, they have a long warranty behind there work so you can go back in a couples months for any readjustments/trimming. (As the clear bra dries after install, it settles a small amount.)

My car came with a higher quality bra don't know the brand. Anyways it was faded. I ended up getting the nusolis one off eBay and I'm happy with it. It's much less noticeable than the old one and it was like $50. Even if it only lasts a year or two I'll be happy with it.

Go with a "full front" wrap and there are no lines. Full hood, full front quarters, and bumper. It cost more but well worth it in the long run.
