question on hyperblack CSL's
I just recieved my CSL's yesterday from JLevi....thanks Nick!
But I was wondering if these wheels chip easily? I take my car to the car wash every week and know I'm afraid if the wheel will chip or scratch. before smart a$$es start saying wash your own car.....and all that crap people say online....no! I dont want to. I'm just asking a simple question. |

Congrats on your purchase.
The CSL wheels have a clearcoat on them to help prevent moderate chips. They really don't chip that easily, but like any wheel if going fast enough and hit it will chip. This will happen with any wheels. For the CSL wheels avoid acidic cleaners obviously as they will eat away at the clearcoat and paint(since you take your car to the car wash you really need to watch out for this, since they tend to use degreasers which are acidic). Just use normal soap and water for best results. |
