Hello! Happy New Year!
![]() I have a couple questions, wanted some opinions/help please. I'm going to pick up my new e90 in couple of days, and I'm looking to find ways to take care of this car like no other I've owned (just a bad car owner that I am). However, I do see the light now... ![]() I was wondering if anyone has tried this "MING" process, www.mingautodetail.com and if so, does it really work?? I'm in Socal, and I've read so much about Zaino, Meguiars, and I'm looking to find someone who does mobile detail or such, seeing as how I work almost 10-12 hours a day, and I'm not that good at all that buffing and clay waxing and what not... who will take care of my car as if it was theirs.... to do it professionally. ![]() Lastly, I want to tint and clear bra the car..... where is a good place I can go to that does an awesome job? I hear Formula 1 and MADCO are good tints, and Venture Films is a good clear bra with lifetime warranty?? ![]() Any opinions and information, cost predictions would be greatly appreciated.... THANK YOU!! ![]() BTW, it'll be an e90 330IA Arctic Met / Black / Premium / Sports / Cold / Nav / Sunshades / Comf Acc. |

I'd go with Zaino, you only need to dedicate about five hours of your time every 3-6 months. Also, it's by far the easiest system to apply and remove.
I've never heard of the MING process before. I'm kind of skeptical about leaving my paint unprotected, and expecting this MING process to toughen it up enough. |

![]() BTW, how many hours on average do you guys spend on you car detailing, like to the finest detail. How much time should I estimate if I take it into someone to do? |

Five hours? This weekend will be the first time I get to wash the new E90, but it used to take me about five hours just to wash and detail my 318ti, possibly including one coat of polish. My home situation involves moving the car and all the supplies around once or twice during this process (wash in the street, then move everything down to the garage), but I must be doing something wrong if it takes me this long. |

1 coat of Zaino, wiped on/off, with a coat of Z6 at the end usually takes me less than an hour. So if I spent about 45 minutes on the wash, skipped the clay, I could probably get 5 coats on. Wouldn't be able to bend my fingers after that though. And that wouldn't include rims.

I use Klasse AIO and SG. I use one coat of each after a good wash and I am good for about 9 months or so. I generally wax my car once around April and again around November.
I don't have the time for all these multiple coats. So, I spend about 90 minutes with my regimen. 1. Wash (Meguires Car Shampoo) 2. Dry (The Absorber) 3. Klasse AIO 4. Klasse SG 5. Tires (Meguires Endurance Gel) 6. Interior (Lexol, Vinylex) The best part about Klasse is that there is no drying time needed. I typically wipe it off within 5 minutes of applying (just enough time to finish the panel I am working on). For someone who has limited time but wants a great looking car, this is the way to go.

Thanks for all your great knowledge.... Forgot to ask, one last thing. After picking up the car from the dealer, what do I do first? Tint, clear bra, or zaino/wax (detail)? I thought, tint, so then detail can clean and what not after. Then, is it safer/better for the car to be waxed, then the clear bra, or will the film not stick if it's waxed too much, or??? I'm such a car freak now, thank you for all your help!!
