Question what's next? RB or meth

I've been FBO for a few months now but I'm getting used to the power and I need more

Here are my current perf. mods:

ER FMIC
ER CP + Tial BOV
AR 3" catless DP
AFE Stage2 DCI
Cobb Stage2+FMIC Aggr. tune

the car is pushing just over 380awhp. and yes my car is 6speed xi.

I still can't make up my mind whether I should go with upgraded turbos e.g. RB or go with meth kit.

Obviously both of these required pro tuning since I'm running Cobb so that's is out of the question.

Any advise is welcome.

Here is a pic of my car btw. (before vinyl wrapping the window trims)

meth first, then RBs, or both at same time. You won't be able to open up those RBs to its full potential without meth. (I guess you could run E85 but no one knows if the fuel system is up to the task for RB power).

I'd also worry about your differential when pushing the car to those power levels since you have an xi.

I would maybe first go for the RB's... even without the meth, having turbo pressure up to 7000 rpm is briljant... But Myst is right, to fully utilize the potential you have to add Meth to the mix.

Meth, otherwise you won't get the full advantage of RB's on pump gas. If you plan to run race gas often, then RB's.

You might want to try a custom tune on ATR/protune with meth on stock turbos. Perhaps 420-430 whp may be enough for you.

sounds good enough for me. I'm gonna start looking for this kit.

Hopefully a local vendors sells it so I don't need to go through customs.

+1 for getting ProTuned. Hit up Dzenno@ProTuningFreaks, you might be surprised how much power is still hiding in those OTS Maps. After that, I'd say go with RB's (since you're using a Flash Based tune, it'll be easier to take advantage of that power instead of the Meth)

Do both to push the envelope for the xi community. You can always tune to your desires power output for different circumstances... So if you do both you wont be limiting yourself. I have an xi with pre and post turbo meth and I love it, but it is kind of an all or nothing solution- I would imagine partial throttle would be much more gratifying with RBs and the meth will always be there for when you want to go for the gold...

But sorry, again, you do not need meth to get turbo power till redline, to my opinion I liked that more then meth.... rb's + meth is a canon, but just RB's make you car feel like an V8.... my 2 cents.... without trying to be ignorant...

Proced on 16 psi with 30 CPS... it's very nice... no meth required pussing 400whp+....

I know this is off topic but how do you like the ER charge pipe with the Tial BOV? I just ordered mine and i'm having it installed this week but I keep having doubts about the BOV... I'm worried it's going to be too loud and that the "whoosh" is going to get annoying after a while.

I was worried at first too, but the sound isn't that loud. With the windows up, I can barley hear it.

Ok well that's a relief. Anyways i'd suggest meth before RB's

Saw the hfs-4 the other day, such an amazing kit! Its on my list of future mods for sure. Most people on stock turbos use just two 1mm nozzles it seems. Why not just drill the charge pipe and weld in another bung?

Do you have the full length ER or the shorter one? If it's the shorter one just throw on a BMS elbow with it. If it's the longer one tap somewhere after the intercooler for the second nozzle.

I would buy this from Howerton: http://www.howertonengineering.net/p...r-Only%29.html

Allows you to install the meth nozzle in the silcone coupler thats coming off the fmic outlet.
