Someone hit my car while it was parked in a parking lot and drove away (I wasn't around) and Progressive never gave me any issues. Granted the work cost them around 1k and I paid $250 out of pocket, but they fixed it with no hassles.

But if there is more money involved, I wonder how that will work? Maybe I should consider State Farm or Liberty Mutual since my policy ends soon.

I'd have to imagine stories like this happen at every company. Just google state farm screwed me and see what shows up.
