Similar to your post, I have always thought this budget cut video demonstrated in pennies was pretty cool.... It's funny how 100 million dollars sounds like a lot until you watch the video.. lol

That's what happens when you pay for things you can't afford...
-2 wars -tax cuts for the rich -Social Security (more money going out then was ever paid in) -Medicare (more money going out then was ever paid in) The wars and tax cuts won't last forever, so the big thing we need to get a handle on is SS & Medicare. However its something no one wants to touch. Let's be honest, in order to keep them around, people will have to get less of it, or put more into it (taxes). Neither of which people will accept, so we're F***ed. |
