What happens if it get too hot and discolors to a yellowish color. I have experience with turbocharged cars having carbon fiber engine covers and intakes that discolor. ?

Carbon fiber will turn slightly yellow over time whether it be from heat or exposure to sunlight, but it still looks better than the stock one.

what is bad is when some of it discolors..and other parts dont. I wish it didnt do this..but I had two different covers on one of my Audis....and both discolored. It was probably best used only when going to car shows.. Just my 2 cents worth based upon my personal experience. I am not saying that yours will do this..I am just stating what i have experienced.

I know none of our vorsteiner engine cover customers have come back to us to complain about it, but of course I can't guarantee that it won't turn yellow.

Let me just say that if I had an E90, this engine cover would be installed on my own car right now and this thread wouldn't even exist. It's a beautiful piece
