2 Fuel Pumps go south in 2 weeks?

How is this possible? It's the pump in the gas tank. Dealer is waiting till Monday to talk to BMW to see if there is a reason why they keep failing.

It's fruitless to guess without seeing codes or testing the pumps to see the mode of failure. Could be the car or the part, but we don't have anything to go by. It could also be a faulty diagnosis by the dealer.

I agree- Often dealer will replace the high pressure fuel pump incorrectly when it's in fact the low pressure pump.
