Procede stock boost level only
I am troubleshooting Procede 2.5 5-23 E85 Map1. Same firmware and map I have ran previously with no problems.
On Map 1 I am getting stock boost levels only. On Map 4 (PWM), I am getting stock boost levels only and no PWM injection mode % or flow. Procede is working, I am connected and logging results, switching maps, etc. Map 1 log: |

you have your start boost set at 35%? I'm running 85% on my car, but I've also played with the OL table to keep from maxing trims. Kick it up to 60% start boost and see where your boost is to include your trims. Keep it in MAP 1 unless you actually are spraying meth from MAP 4. MAP 4 will always use MAP 1 unless you are spraying, then it will use MAP 2. If everything looks good at 60%, go up 5% jumps and log. Again, if things look good, you can keep going.. At 85% my car runs really strong and I'm boosting 18psi.

First thing you'll need to do is datalog boost control setpoint as that is the actual boost value that the Procede is targeting. This will tell us if the low boost is intentional. If its intentional, there are only a few things that can cause that (Procede fault code, user inputting wrong boost/max boost values, oil temp too low, etc)

Wish I would have logged your suggestion Shiv before starting over. Would have been nice to understand exactly what was the issue.
I reloaded firmware and map and got back to expected results. Made an adjusted to the injection mode and the car feels freaking fantastic with the E85 map and meth! Maybe a slight mis-match in the firmware version and map? Shiv, you recently tested my Procede in your car for a few days and it tested out fine. I wonder if the firmware you loaded was slight variation than what would have matched the map available for me to download? I uploaded the stg2 map a couple times but avoided reloading the firmware because I knew you sent it back to me working just fine. By the way... I figured out what was wrong with my setup after you tested the Procede for me. I went through the setup with the volt/ohm meter and found I had a broken ground wire that powered my relay! It looked perfect but no continuity at all. I dissected the wire and found it was broken inside the ring terminal under the heat shrink. Where it was broken finally got enough corrosion to stop the connection all together. |
