Is it easy to replace damaged wing mirror trim?

Hi All
First post on this forum and unfortunately its because a third party has smashed my offside wing mirror!

They want to pay themselves, so is it going to be easy for me to remove and replace the front and rear wing mirror trim myself?

2011 E91 320d Tourer Sport Plus, Black.

Thanks for your help guys!

have just done this today. first tip the glass forwards at the top i used a wide flat plastic trim remover with a 90 degree angle on it to get behind the glass and gently pull it until it pops off (be careful as if its a dimming glass they are £360 each!) then disconnect the plug next you will see 4 slots in the mirror surround in which are serrated tags for the mirror cover use a flat screwdiver to gently ease these out and the cover will pop off. next use a hex screwdriver to remove 4 small screws holding the mirror surround on then remove the surround fitting replace the surround and screws refit the cover which snaps into place then refit the plug and carefully press the glass back takes abot 20 minutes. the surrounds are £20 and the covers approx £22 plus painting.

I had a quote on another car, for the same thing. Not quite that frightening, but it was still well over £150. Luckily, the non-dimming mirror glass was the same size and about £100 cheaper, so I decided I could live without that particular gimmick!

Sorry for the delay with a follow up. Costs were: Pre-painted wing mirror shell, and gloss black frame £68, and mirror £81. Fitted by myself in few minutes. Thanks guys.
