..question on knocking noise..wtf??

hey guys... need help again. well just got my new hpfp in but still not to confident on that fuel pump... and i got my retrofit oil cooler for my e90 335i which makes my car fun about 20 degrees cooler, but still able to bring it to 265 under normal conditions. pretty sure i could bring it up to 275 but thats another thread..h ah ahaa

the problem im having is that after they changed the fuel pump, i'm noticing a slight knocking noise where the head is at. anyone else know of this? bringing it too the dealer next week. let me know...thanks.

The N54 has some 'quirky' sounds which I believe could be percieved as knock but I think it's just personality. Mine has made those noises since day 1 and now 5,500 miles later (most of them with the Procede) it's running as strong as ever and the heat index has been around 105-110.

well, i guess what bothers me is that the sound was never there before? still have to break in the engine??
