Tuner-Auxiliary
When I am listening to either the tuner or CD player, the volume is fine and don't need to raise it much since it's already loud. On Auxiliary, I have to CRANK (I mean literally give it a good 5 spins) just to hear the music from the ipod. Is this normal? or something wrong? Would I damage the speakers this way?

Did you adjust the amplification on the AUX input? It's "VOL" if don't have iDrive on the head unit. Raise that up and see how it goes.
Edit: Also check if your cable is functioning correctly. (No loose or bad contacts) |

+1 on the iPod volume...
Also mp3 songs are recorded at different audio levels so be careful not to play a soft song too loud and blow out your speakers on the next. |
