iOS 6.0/audio/connected drive/messages
Just a quick note for everyone frustrated with their iPhone connected drive compatibility. I am part of the apple developer program and the new ios 6.0 improves functionality for iPhone 4 and 4s (my wife's and I) with idrive It will now populate emails, text messages, calendar options, and voice response when selected. Also allows for siri to function independently rather than through stereo. Very convenient. Only a month or 2 until its release, thought I'd share my excitement!

IOS 6 Beta 4 has a bug, won't send emails to iDrive only messages, if you have Beta 3 don't go to beta 4, wait untill beta 5 and hopefully they will have it fixed.

Beta 3 was perfect for me. Now on Beta 4, I am not getting emails, and if I plug in the iPhone to the console USB after the car is started, the sound comes from the iPhone speaker and not the car's. All other functions work.

Running beta 4 and noticed that I cannot play video files from my Iphone anymore. This was ok in beta 3.
Anyone else have the same problem? No problem with e-mails or text messages by the way. |

iOS 6 will allow iCloud streaming instead of the downloading we currently have to do from iCloud, right?

I wish time would move a little faster for iOS6 release
 I had the Beta but was having too many issues with bugs, so I reverted back to iOS5 for the time being. I'm very excited to be using it with ConnectedDrive, though!

bmiller05...how do you revert back to iOS5 after upgrading? I was under the impression that wasn't possible. I'd love to know if it's simply the same process in reverse, haven't tried b/c 6.0 has been signed already by apple

from my knowledge going back to 5 could either be way harder or way easier... Although i have never had a iPhone I have had about 13 phones in the past 2 years. (I like phones) I am glad we have an inside man at apple making me consider the iphone 5! Any new on that?
