I think GTO's deserve attention too! Look at how many views the thread had in such a short time. Almost 3500.
Besides, I am finding that most GTO people are nice, non-violent people. |

They are, too bad the same can't be said for a number of members on this forum. It's a sad commentary for this place when members who don't own BMW's are actually better people then the BMW owners.

Unfortunately there are people like that on every board I've been on - not just here...
I'm a former 2004 GTO owner (and I'm still a member of ls1gto.com) - had one before I got my C6Z. Very nice car for the money (I paid under $30K) with amazing mod potential. Definitely not built like other GM products! There were some valid points in the other thread (which I did not participate in), but it was getting a bit out of hand and off topic...

Neither, just crappy stuff like the trunk not unlocking and now the trunk not shutting and a lot of interior pieces falling apart. My favorite is how his gauges go crazy once and a while and it says he is going like 150mph at redline :P

Mine was rock solid, but the instrument cluster gremlin is pretty common and I ran in to it a couple of times with mine. Just an unadvertised "feature" we got with the car
Anyways, sold my '04 to a friend and it's been good to him... Definitely not a bad car.

It could be because us Aussies made the car No offence to any current or previous owner of the GTO, but i must say that the car looks terrible thanks to PONTIAC design division. GM should have just put on the Pontiac badges instead of ruining the sexy bodykit that us Aussies have made. Ill show you what i mean here's a link to a car that i love.

I also think the individuals that came over to comment on the comparison are fairly knowledgeble of cars as well. If this was a mustang board, things probably would have been VERY different because of that comparison.
I personally like the 335i very much. If I were in a different position I would have considered the 335i after my S60R. |

Thanks! It doesn't take a lot to change them back. I love the look and I get asked everyday I drive the car, "what is that?" and a lot of good comments.
